This is a strange game, with instructions that are hard to read, but the flock-behaviour is quite nice. It is an attempt by the designer to subvert the mechanism behind war-gaming.

The Artist says:

'Every day the same dream' is a slightly existential riff on the theme of alienation and refusal of labour. The idea was to charge the cyclic nature of most video games with some kind of meaning, i.e. the 'play again' is not a game over. Yes, there is an end state, you can 'beat' the game.

TuboFlex

Playing the part of a TuboFlex worker, you will have to quickly learn the new tasks for each job. Try not to make too many mistakes. If you run out of chances, you will be blacklisted and expelled from the labour-market

Defend your city against the words which fall from the sky. Type them correctly and hit 'enter' to shoot them down. Any that get past you, will start destroy your shield.

When available, use the Power-ups, to Freeze the words, Fix your city or Erase all the words

Click 'Play', choose a music track, then select a level from easy, medium or hard. Click 'Play' again, and type the correct letters when they reaches the timing bar

Not sure about this one. It seems to crash too often. Also, timeandgame.com is a Chinese company, so the 'Help' is a translated page, which doesn't always load properly.

Click 'Start' and then shoot down the words by typing in the correct letters

At the moment, I can't work out how to embed the Java Script for this game, so click Type-it to access game through your Internet Browser. Remember to use the back button to return to this blog.

To start game, click 'Play' and then type the letters as they fall down the screen. This is good practice for touch-typing because you don't have time to keep looking at the keyboard.

Hamster

This lively pet hamster will keep you company throughout the day. Watch him run on his wheel, drink water, and eat the food you feed him by clicking your mouse. Click the center of the wheel to make him get back on it. Although, sometimes he might need a little sleep

This little Flash animation from aBowman, is reminiscent of the executive toy. Lift one of the balls with your cursor and see what happens...see Wikipedia for information about the physics of this mechanism

Point 'n' click with your mouse, to identify the differences between these images. Some are really easy to spot, others are a little bit harder...

Maukie 2

Maukie is the cutest cat ever to terrorize your mouse. Move your cursor and Maukie will follow. Scratch her head, and she will meow. Rub her tummy, and she will purr. All the while, she's breathing in and out, with a slight twitch on her tail. She may even try to swat your mouse.

Different words will scroll by and you have to identify those associated with the given subject, ie 'grandmother'. If the verb is correct, the viper swallows the word.
